About Giving to the nonprofit Montreal International Poetry Prize
There are a number of ways to support our effort to crowdfund a major, independent global poetry prize:
1. Participate. When the Montreal Prize is open to entries, please take part! By doing so you’ll be participating directly in our effort to crowdfund a major global poetry prize.
2. Buy a copy of our 2011 Global Poetry Anthology. The publication of an annual, authoritative global poetry anthology of previously unpublished work is one of our key goals. Our portion of the proceeds goes directly to funding the Montreal Prize. To buy a copy, please visit our publisher’s website or check out your favourite online bookseller. 3. Purchase a broadside print. Eric Fischl generously created a broadside painting based on a poem from our 2011 Global Poetry Anthology. Produced by Montreal Books Press and limited to 100 hand-signed copies, these broadsides are available now; please contact Carolyn O’Neill at montrealbooks@videotron.ca. Our portion of the proceeds will go towards raising a permanent Prize Fund for the Montreal Prize.
4. Give directly: If you would like to give directly to the Montreal Prize, we would appreciate any support you can provide.
